Nov~ 6, 2007 7B Leann and AndrewWarren McCracken and Warren wed in September ceremony Terry and Linda her flower girl. with a touch of silver, ding cake, a three-layered McCracken announce the .marriage of their daughter, Leann Marie McCracken, to Andrew Clark Warren, the son of Denise McIntosh and Dennis Warren, both from Yuba City. They were married on Sept. 15, 2007, at the Susanville Assembly of God Church: April Taylor was the maid of honor. Heather Hlusak; Cassie Smith and Jesseca Roberts were the bridesmaids and Kadence McCracken was She was dressed in a long gown matching the bride. She carried a basket of red rose petals. The best man was Josh Warren, the groom's brother and the groomsmen were Tyler Peacock, Sam Molica and Brett Page. Pastor Dwight Deaton joined them in matrimony. Nancy Holsey provided organ music, i The' bride chose colors of candy apple red and white Her flowers were a cascad- ing bouquet of red and white roses. The bridesmaids wore a candy apple red dress groomsmen and the father of the brides' tuxes were accent- ed in candy apple red as well. All of their flowers and bou- t0nnieres were done in red and White roses. A dinner reception was held at the Susanville Elks Hall following the ceremony. Debbie Lucero made the :wed- cake with a water fountain between the layers. It was decorated with real baby red roses, and topped with a crystal double heart. Later that evening, the cou- ple departed for the Elks Hall ina stretch limo that drove them m Reno. They flew to Florida the following morn- ing, for their honeymoon, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew: Warren are currently resid-: ing in Re dding, Calif. Base, Byers plan November wedding Mr. and Mrs. James Base, of Susanville, announce the engagement of their daugh- ter Melissa Renee Base to Justin Charles Byers, als0 of Susanville, The groom-to-be, a 1999 Graduate of Lassen High School, is currently in train- ing at the California Correctional Academy where he will graduate in November. upon graduating, he will be employed at High Desert State Prison. The bride-to-be, whc grad- uated from Diamond Mountain Charter School in 2005, is employed by the Susanville School District. The couple is planning a November wedding and will reside in Susanville. Melissa Base and Justin Byers Cristi Williams and Serge Marchale Williams and Marchale announce engagement Cr.i'sti Witl~rhs~ and Serge Marchale " 'fin0unced their engagement in front of family and friends at the Sage Hen Restaurant in Susanville, Calif. The bride is a native of Susanvllle and a clothing designer. She is finishing up a degree in fine arts in San Francisco. The groom is the new owner of the Sage Hen Restaurant. He is a native of France, but has lived in the United States for many yeats. Following dinner at the Sage ' Hdn =' " R st uraff ;; Marchale gathered everyone together and called Williams to his side. He declared, "This is the woman I want to spend the rest of my life with!" He then pulled out a black velvet box holding a sparkling dia- mond ring and dropped to one knee. Amid gasps, sighs and tears from the onlookers, his proposal was.accepted. The bride and groom met five years ago at Lake Tahoe, after which followed a long distance courtship of letters and visits.
