FroUi's career began with the Forest Service in 1981 on the short grass prairie of eastern Wyoming on the Thunder Basin National Grassland; then to the sub- alpine Rockies of southern Colorado on the Rio Grande NF; the ponderosa pine and sagebrush-steppe in the Cascades of southern Oregon on the Freemont NF; the basin and rangelands of cen- tral Nevada on the Toiyabe NF; and the sierran annual grasslands and mountain meadows of central California on the Sierra, Sequoia and Tahoe NFs.
