class continued tradition by
taking a 19-14 win over the
sophomore/junior class.
It was all about the running
game on both sides
with Amanda
IJynn ruling the
field for the sen-
iors and freshman
and Kennedy Ford
earning her role
as an up and
comer, for
the future of
Powder
Puff. The
senior/
freshman
side scored
first with a
run into the
endzone by
Ford in the
quar-
ter.
Going into
the second
quarter with a 6-0
lead, the sopho-
more/ junior team
managed a tackle in
the endzone to get

sized crowd ready to see some
football action.
Chatter from the sidelines
was all about hitting as one
commented, "If they're going
to run into us, we're, going to
run into them."
With 38 seconds left in the
half, the sophomore/ junior
team managed a trip to the
endzone to have an 8-6 lead.
The halftime show was
nearly as exciting as the game
with fabulous dancing by the
"drill team" and the "cheer-
leaders" made up of LHS
male students.
Jake Thiels and Bryan
Schaake captained the drill
team while Nick Hibbitts and
Tyler Winn captained the
cheerleaders.
sumed, the senior/freshman
team came out ready to domi-
nate and Lynn made her way
into the endzone to get the
lead, 14-8.
Both sides had their lair
share of trash talking with
the senior coaches telling the
junior coaches "you're a
bunch of little girls."
The third quarter was
quickly coming to a close
when Portia Martin

less than two min-
